Most couples we plan for celebrate on total budgets from the high five figures into six figures. That is the honest range for a full Las Vegas wedding with a seated dinner, professional photography, real florals and a dance floor that stays busy all night. Smaller celebrations land under that range, and we plan beautiful ones every year; grand resort weekends run past it. If you want one number to start from, start there.

Now the more useful part: where the money actually goes, and which choices move the total more than any coupon ever will.

What drives the number

Guest count is the multiplier. Nearly every line of a wedding budget is priced per person: dinner, bar, cake, chairs, invitations, favors. Ten fewer guests quietly saves more than most discounts you will ever hunt down. It is the first number we settle with every couple, because it is the number every other number follows.

Venue and catering carry the biggest share. For most couples, the room and the meal together approach half the total. In Las Vegas this splits into two paths. Strip resorts price through food and beverage minimums, so the room is often yours once the dinner and bar reach a set spend. Off-Strip venues like gardens, golf clubs and private estates price the space and the catering separately, which gives you more room to shape things your way.

The date does real work too. Spring and fall Saturdays are the premium dates and they book 12 to 18 months out. The same wedding on a Friday, a Sunday or a beautiful February afternoon can cost meaningfully less, and in Las Vegas the weather keeps far more of the calendar open than our out-of-town guests ever expect.
