Whether it is the two of you in a desert canyon at sunset or twenty of your favorite people around a private dinner table on the Strip, you get the same sixteen years of planning and design that go into our largest weddings, scaled to the size of your day.
What a Scheme elopement includes
A planner who handles the logistics you should not have to think about: the location and any permissions it needs, the officiant, the photographer and the timeline built around the best light. Then the design: florals, a styled ceremony setting, and a dinner or celebration afterward if you want one.
Many of our couples pair a quiet ceremony with a night out in the city: vows in the canyon at golden hour, then a private dinner and a toast on the Strip. We plan both halves as one day.
Where to elope in Las Vegas
The landscape around the valley does the decorating. Eldorado Canyon's gold-rush townsite, the red sandstone of Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire, and the quiet of Spring Mountain Ranch all sit within an hour of the Strip. For city couples, the Strip's luxury hotels and downtown's independent spaces offer private rooms and rooftops that suit a small guest list.

Elopement or micro-wedding?
An elopement is usually just the two of you, sometimes with a witness or a few family members. A micro-wedding is a small, fully designed wedding, typically under thirty guests, with a ceremony, dinner and all the details of a larger celebration. Scheme plans both, and each is custom quoted based on location, guest count and design.

Can you plan an elopement in Las Vegas?
Yes. Scheme plans designed elopements and micro-weddings across the Las Vegas area, from desert canyons to private dining rooms on the Strip, with the same planning and design team behind our larger weddings.
What do we need to legally get married in Las Vegas?
A Nevada marriage license from the Clark County Marriage License Bureau, which you can start online and pick up in person. Nevada has no waiting period and no blood test. Your ceremony needs a licensed officiant and at least one witness. Check Clark County's site for current hours and fees; we help you fit the license pickup into your timeline.
Where are the best places to elope near Las Vegas?
Eldorado Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire and Spring Mountain Ranch are favorites for desert elopements, all within about an hour of the Strip. Some locations require permits, which we arrange as part of planning.
How much does an elopement planner cost in Las Vegas?

How far in advance should we plan an elopement?
