Las Vegas Bellagio Wedding: Leila & Roie

I vividly remember first meeting with Leila & Roie. They were in Las Vegas from their homeland Ireland and arranged a consultation. It just so happened that one of my other brides was experiencing a bit of unexpected chaos with her wedding plans and the consultation with Leia & Roie was somewhat harried. I let them know what was happening and they said, “Wow! Well if you can take care of all of that…you are hired!” We laughed a bit (and everything turned out well with the other bride!). Planning with Leila & Roie was a great experience. I immediately fell in love with their non-stop smiles and Irish accents.
Leila & Roie had a Las Vegas wedding at Hyde Nightclub inside Bellagio. Hyde Las Vegas offers one of the best views on The Strip and about as up close and personal as you can get with the amazing Bellagio water fountains. This Hyde wedding ceremony was performed right in front of the fountains and couldn’t have been more ideal. Guests were escorted to their seats and minutes later Leila’s father walked her down the aisle. Reverend Kymberli Smith conducted the wedding ceremony and provided a few laughs and tears. Leila was concerned Roie would forget where to place the wedding ring, so she marked a large X on her left ring finger. Roie laughed out loud and appreciated the assistance!
As the ceremony ended, the newlyweds were pronounced husband & wife and Roie stomped a glass in a nod to his Jewish heritage. As this was all happening, the Bellagio fountains began with a soft, romantic fog followed by an exciting eruption of dancing water. Guests were in awe and enjoyed the best seats in the house! After the beautiful Hyde Bellagio wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour at Hyde then moved to Planet Hollywood for a dinner reception. I began working with Leila & Roie as clients but finished as friends. Their generosity, kindness and love is infectious and I can’t wait for their next visit to Vegas!
