Surprise Wedding for Nicole and Pablo!

It’s not every day, nor any day, I get a phone call from a best friend of a bride asking if I’ll help her pull off the biggest surprise of her best friend’s life. I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical at first. How was I going to plan a surprise wedding for a bride I’d never met before. What will she love? What will make her heart skip a beat? However, after chatting with Gee, I quickly realized her friendship with Nicole was deep-rooted and genuine. Gee knew exactly what Nicole would love for her wedding day.

After just 4 weeks of planning, we staged the big surprise on Nicole’s 40th birthday. All their family and closest friends flew in for Nicole and Pablo’s big day and played a big part in the surprise. Pablo guided Nicole to a Palm’s Place Suite where guests greeted Nicole with a warm happy birthday. She had no idea what was in store for her! Guests released the balloons to reveal photos of Nicole and Pablo’s 20 year courtship. It was quickly a birthday party gone engagement party. Pablo got on one knee and proposed to Nicole. She said yes!

Guests were then invited to the Palm’s Penthouse Suite for cocktail hour while we surprised Nicole with one more huge surprise, “You’re getting married tonight!” Wedding planner, hair and makeup artist, florist, seamstress and photographer all greet Nicole with warm hugs and reassurance that her wedding night was going to be spectacular. Gee had prepared multiple dresses and shoes for Nicole to try on. Once she selected her favorite, Couture Bride altered the dress to fit Nicole perfectly. Amelia C & Co. pampered Nicole while Opal floral crafted her bouquet onsite from a selection of flowers hand-picked by Nicole. Scheme assembled the final details of their ceremony with RSVP Party Rentals and LED Unplugged while Mike L Photography captured all the joyous moments. It was quite the hour!

After a hug from the mother of the bride, Nicole was ready to walk down the aisle escorted by their son. The aisle was adorned with candles and floral. LOVE in lights sat just before the lights of the Las Vegas skyline. They had the best view in town. Pablo worked with Pastor Kevin Scott to prepare the perfect ceremony. Nicole was in tears and later said it was better than anything she ever imagined. Nicole and Pablo enjoyed their first dance, toasts and a wonderful reception inside their penthouse suite. It was truly an honor to have been a part of Nicole and Pablo’s surprise wedding. It was an unbelievable day and I’m thrilled to share their photos with you below. Congratulations Pablo and Nicole!
