You may remember quite a while back, WIPA (Wedding Industry Professionals Association) launched in Las Vegas and we were thrilled to organize, design and execute the inaugural event at Four Seasons. Angela Desveaux of WedLuxe was our speaker and she was fascinating — telling us the ins and outs of running the most beautiful bridal show and bridal magazine in the world. Yes, the world. Have you seen the blog, magazine and bridal show?? They are UNREAL. Here’s a bit of a reminder from our launch event in September 2014.
WIPA had a successful year connecting wedding professionals in Las Vegas. In February of this year, a new WIPA Board was installed and I am thrilled to be participating as the Vice President. I’m extremely passionate about the wedding industry and believe there is so much room for growth, education, connection and development in our market. And I have a firm belief that WIPA is the place for professional, creative and reliable vendors to meet together and discuss the improvement of weddings in Las Vegas. It attracts high quality vendors that are interested in producing high quality weddings — whatever the look. Some vendors specialize in rustic weddings, some in romantic weddings, some in modern wedding, others in traditional weddings. What matters most is that the men and women behind the flowers, gowns, invitations and food service are interested in bettering him/herself and contributing to raising the bar in Las Vegas weddings. This is where it’s going to happen. I’m going to do everything I can to make it happen. And there is an entire Board of dynamite professionals committed to the cause. This is WIPA!
