Scheme is back at Green Valley Ranch with a gorgeous Las Vegas local couple and we couldn’t be more excited to share their wedding day with you. With Chris dressed in his suit and tie and Nicole perfectly fitted into her dress, these two couldn’t look better together. Nicole and Chris’ wedding day was truly special and we can’t thank KMH Photography enough for capturing the expressions, details and memories of their day!
Nicole and Chris’ day began with their closest friends and family by their side while Makeup in the 702 got them looking their best. Chris, a southern gentlemen, opted out of a first look so that he could see his beautiful bride for the first time at their ceremony. Therefore, we were tasked with designing a beautiful ceremony that would create a long lasting memory for both Nicole and Chris. Green Valley Ranch provided a beautiful backdrop and Layers of Lovely put their perfect touch on the space with an arbor draped in blush chiffon tied back with lush garden roses and peonies. A wooden sign expressing “This is how our love story begins” hung perfectly at the end of the aisle with two large floral arrangements. It was breathtaking! Pair that with a romantic ceremony and there is not a dry eye in the place. Thank goodness we provided the guests with everything they needed prior to the ceremony, tissues, fans, ceremony programs, water and rose petals to toss and celebrate with.
While KMH Photography captured those beautiful sunset portraits, guests enjoyed cocktail hour inside Lobby Bar at Green Valley Ranch. In between passed hors d’oeuvres and delicious cocktails, guests visited the guest book table to leave their well wishes and to find their escort card displayed on a large boxwood backdrop. Paper flowers with each guests name hung around a large cutout “Love.” Once all escort cards were removed, the boxwood became the perfect photo booth backdrop!
We invited guests into Nicole and Chris’ reception where they were greeted with wooden tables topped with gorgeous floral, gold glitter chargers, menus and DIY favors. Half the guests sat around the room in existing tufted benches and tall chiavari chairs, while the immediate family sat close to the bride and groom’s sweetheart table that was placed on an existing stage. It was a challenge utilizing the bar for an intimate sit down dinner, but we welcomed it and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Thank you to our vendors for accepting the challenge with us!
Best wishes go out to Nicole and Chris as they celebrate their marriage traveling through Europe for their honeymoon. Their love is strong and sincere and we wish them the absolute best in your future together.
