After meeting one day in a Crate & Barrel, Amy and Justin fell in love, got engaged and were on their way to planning a Las Vegas wedding. With a venue like Springs Preserve that provides one stellar backdrop for a wedding, an easy going couple like Amy & Justin and an inspiration of a Mexican Fiesta style wedding… you get this unbelievable wedding day. Without further adieu, I present our first wedding of 2015. This is one wedding that I would be able to plan over and over. Justin is a midwest boy from Nebraska and Amy is a “midwest” girl from Chicago. If you know me… you know I adore my midwest roots and knew that these two would hold a special place in my heart and call them friends in the end. When I first met Amy & Justin, I could tell that they were madly in love with each other, soul mates and looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together. They are two of the most loving and kind people with some amazing friends and family.
Amy and Justin came to Las Vegas on a warm August day to begin their planning. After a short venue search, they fell in love with Springs Preserve and all the beauty that surrounded it. What happened next? Their Southwestern inspiration began to fall into place with bright colors, cactus filled vases, and one killer dessert display with delicious treats from Gimme Some Sugar.
The bridal party was dressed fabulously with individually selected attires for each and every one of their 12, yes 12, bridal party members. The flowers from Layers of Lovely were the perfect accent to each and every one of their outfits.
Their ceremony is definitely going to be one that lives in my memory forever. When groomsman and officiant, Chase, asked Justin that infamous question and Amy yells out “I DO!” She was just so excited to say it, she couldn’t even wait for her turn!
Fast forward to their reception that was filled with beautiful wood Napa Tables from RSVP Party Rentals, floral from Layers of Lovely and stunning lighting by LED Unplugged. I can’t forget to mention that their double sided bar that was right in the middle of the room! This couple was not about stuffy formal sit down dinners and wanted the room to feel as if they were walking into a beautifully decorated bar with great entertainment. They went with delicious Mexican inspired cuisine stations and a mixture of different height tables so guests could mingle, eat and move throughout the room with ease. The Lucky Devils Band provided great tunes and definitely had guests grooving the night away to every song.
Amy & Justin, I am genuinely honored that I was a part of planning your Las Vegas wedding. You have amazing hearts and to call you friends means the world to me. Each and every one of your guests were fantastic, funny and definitely down to party… which I love. I am thrilled to see you grow as a family and continue to love each other unconditionally and deeply. You are an truly an example of what marriage should be about and I will cherish every moment we spent together planning your beautiful wedding! xoxo, Traci
