I’m not sure where to begin in writing a blog about my own wedding, I just know I had a ton of fun planning it with my Scheme girls and that it turned out absolutely perfect! But by now you all know a post on our blog is no post at all without some detail shots!
When planning started we knew we wanted a fun and romantic atmosphere and we wanted it to feel like a get together at our home where we just happened to be wearing a tux and a wedding dress. David grew up in New York in a traditional Italian family and I grew up in California in a traditional Filipino family — by traditional, I mean huge family get togethers, food continuously coming out of the kitchen and onto the table and grandmothers insisting that you need to eat some more. This was the inspiration for the long tables at our reception and having dinner served family style.
When our ceremony at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary ended, we couldn’t wait to head over to Springs Preserve to see how all of the details came to fruition. The girls and all of our vendors did an outstanding job bringing it all together for us! During dinner we took a moment to walk around and remember it all.

Layers of Lovely wowed us with this beautiful olive tree, it has found a perfect home in our backyard!

My sister/maid of honor worked tirelessly to sew these 21 ft. runners, she’s the best!
