Andrea and Ben, along with their beautiful dog, began their new life together on September 1, 2012 with a beautiful Springs Preserve wedding. They were both raised in Elko, Nevada, where they became high school sweethearts. Andrea and Ben now reside in Las Vegas where she is a hospice nurse and he is a hotel engineer. They center their lives around family and put a high priority on one another, so the planning process was creative, enjoyable and very detailed to ensure their love showed through and their family enjoyed every minute of the celebration.

The ceremony was an organic gathering of people surrounding the couple throughout the two tiered rotunda. Andrea, escorted by her mother, met Ben at the center of the space after gracefully walking down a dramatic staircase with a draped railing of garland accented with blooms and billy balls. Andrea and Ben witnessed their loved ones from every angle of the alter and were showered with poems, readings, blessed coins and words of wisdom from family members who traveled from the Basque Country.

Andrea and Ben’s cocktail hour was a reunion of family and an amazing celebration or new and old friends. Pictures of past marriages filled the room. A large chalkboard with a teal vintage border included a personal thank you note from the couple. Decor Inspiration began with colors of teal and burnt orange, a palette developed to pop against the natural tones of the venue. Linen colors were alternating and cocktail tables were accented with beautiful succulents.

Guests were invited to the Gardens Courtyard Plaza where they found their table numbers labeled on wine bottles that sat on top of vintage love novels. Alternating teal and burnt orange linen rested under a tan overlay where groupings of bottles, vases and wooden boxes with vibrant blooms in oranges, yellows and blues gathered in the middle. Each table had its own personally while developing on overall organic feel. Guests were surprisingly greeted with a family cookbook placed at each setting. Andrea and Ben created a favor that would continue into generations to come. Flirty festoon lighting lined the dance floor and animated uplighting lined the entire space. Lanterns dangled center stage adding a pop of color. The cake resembled the stationery and stood proud next to the head table with complimentary florals and decor stretching the length of the table. Andrea’s charming bouquet sat in the middle of the table and included succulents and florals in coral, oranges, and yellows including scabiosa pods and berzilla berry for texture.
