I can’t express how much I enjoy the smell of baked goods in the fall. The wonderful smell of pumpkin pie, fruit cobblers and cookies lifts my spirit and excites me for the holidays. The thought of friends attending cookie parties, family sitting at the dinner table for Thanksgiving and my mom and I competing for the best wrapped Christmas present brings a smile to my face. Oh, and Pinterest brings it to a whole new level this year!
Peach Cobbler is one of my favorite childhood fall desserts. This year, I’m pulling out this recipe card from Betty Crocker. • A carnival isn’t a carnival without a caramel apple. I’m excited to try this alternative small bite option in my own kitchen. • A family tradition at Halloween has always been chili and corn bread. I’m going to put a twist on our traditional recipe and try this one instead. • I’m really excited to try out this polymer gift tag tutorial at Poppytalk. Great for all my fall birthday tags. • Straight from my Pinterest board is this custom dinnerware from Brooklyn Limestone. I’ll be getting creative to create custom Thanksgiving dinnerware. • Among my busy schedule will be Heritage Makers this fall. My goal is to get all my pictures into albums to share as a Christmas gift or coffee table decor. • Scarfs! I’m making this one from Watch Me Daddy. • Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte! Enough said.
Thank you for celebrating the kickoff of fall with the Scheme girls. We’ll be back with some more fun personal favorites soon. We wish everyone a great season and joyous holidays.
