Meeting up with Suzanne from SHE PAPERIE blossomed out of a series of emails loving each others work.  Our first meeting was over Golden Spoon Yogurt (you know us…any excuse for some food and we’re good to go!).  We talked for hours and went home fast friends.  Over the next few months we bonded over love of paper, parties and people.  She was so sweet to design our Holiday cards this year–we love how she adds an extra dash of ‘special’ in every piece she creates!  Read on to learn about Suzanne and SHE PAPERIE!

SHE PAPERIE + design boutique is a full service design studio specializing in custom graphic design and print projects for life’s occasions big and small.  From unique party invitations to wedding invitation ensembles, birth announcements, holiday cards, and even logo design, we bring new meaning to the phrase pushing the envelope.  We love pairing beautiful papers with gorgeous typography and often times incorporate unique touches such as fabric, wax seals or even elements of nature into our designs.  We believe each custom design project should be tailored to suit your own personal style and that the end result should always be a direct expression of you.  We have had the privilege of working with clients around the globe for the past 9 years and it’s pretty safe to say that we’re passionate about celebrating life through paper.

List 3 blogs or website you use for inspiration:

I love being inspired by the work of other creative types who are not necessarily graphic designers.  With that being said…

I love the overall approach to design found in the work of food and prop stylist Paul Lowe

I could spend hours drooling over any image taken by photographer Jose Villa

And Kate Spade never disappoints when it comes to being inspired by the fashion industry

What are the benefits a bride will experience when using your services?

We want each and every client to have an exceptional experience from start to finish.  Emails are answered promptly, numerous design options are always presented, proofs are created in a timely manner, and even our orders are thoughtfully packaged.  After all, we believe that love is in the details!  We strive to make each step of the design process fun and feel that wedding stationery should be as unique as the two individuals being celebrated.  We strive to create original, one of a kind designs so that no two wedding invitation ensembles will ever be the same.  We want the design experience to be one that is both special and memorable and feel that repeat business is always a good indication of us executing our job with reliability and finesse.

What makes your work stand out?

At SHE PAPERIE + design boutique, you will find our work to be original, inspired and anything but cookie cutter.  Invitations found in a book or online are lacking in expression and often times limited in design.  We feel that color options should be endless, font selections should not have to be made from a short list, and that the sky should be the limit when it comes to choosing the type of paper, envelope, and printing method you envision for your design.  Our passion for what we do shines through in every single detail.

What are some of your hobbies outside the wedding industry?

I am a fan of cooking, interior decorating, and styling parties. Oh, and trying new restaurants.  Does that count as a hobby?

What is something you wish you could do every day?

Sleep in!  Having an hour to spend on Pinterest or reading other blogs would be awesome too.  However, with just turned 2 year old twins, having personal time or more than 5 hours of sleep just isn’t in the cards for me right now.

What is the best thing you’ve spent money on recently?

Attending ALT – was pretty awesome and super inspiring.  I hope to go again next year!

What is the strangest part of your morning or nighttime routine?

Before going to bed, these 3 things must take place: my kitchen sink must be sparkling clean (I can’t wake up to a sink full of dirty dishes!), I have to wash my feet (TMI?) and I must crack my back, fingers and toes before settling in (or I can forget about falling asleep)!

Paper products don’t get much better than this, folks!  And you’ll have a divine experience working with Suzanne.  Click here to see her oh so cute blog.  Contact her for any of your stationery needs!
