In February, we had the opportunity to create a styled shoot for eight fabulous photographers from around the world that were in town for the WPPI convention.
We teamed up with some talented people including Layers of Lovely, A Milestone Paper Company, Laura Ivanova Photography, Bella Bridesmaid and Your Beauty Call for this “Love is in the Air” themed shoot. You may have recently seen it featured on Style Me Pretty. Our inspiration came from the extraordinary location we picked for the venue, an airplane hangar! From there we came up with a story about a soldier coming home from war to marry his love. He and his fiancé have been writing love letters back and forth, until one day she received a military release order asking her to “save the date” for his return. She and her two bridesmaids anxiously awaited his arrival at the airport. The soldier and his bride enjoyed an intimate ceremony on the tarmac while reading old love letters to each other. An all American reception followed in an airplane hangar.
