A few months ago, we posted this and set out to create a Las Vegas desert wedding for Alicia and Chris. Well, Mother Nature had different plans. We got up early and drove two hours to the dry lake bed setting for the wedding. When we arrived at the site, we were greeted by 60 mile an hour winds! Quickly realizing all the plans for this wedding were no longer feasible, we made a few calls, starting with the bride.  Alicia still wanted to have the ceremony at the dry lake bed, but knew the reception had to be moved. Our back up plan for the wedding was to move to the studio of the oh-so-generous photo duo AltF. With the help of an amazing vendor team, we were able to transform the studio into a one of a kind reception site.

Chris and Alicia got ready at The Platinum Hotel.

They then headed out to the ceremony in Crystal, Nevada. Check out the wind blowing everyone around!

The event got started at the makeshift reception venue–we don’t think there was a more perfect spot to hold the party!

Blankets and flashlights were provided as favors for guests–they were perfect for the dry lake bed plan.  We’re hoping guests will enjoy them in the comfort of their own homes now!
