Tara & Brent's Westin Lake Las Vegas Wedding - Las Vegas Wedding Planner // Las Vegas Weddings

Happy Thursday! We have a treat for you. Tara and Brent’s wedding from this fall at The Westin Lake Las Vegas is below and we are so excited to share all their gorgeous details captured by the talented Adam Trujillo Photography. Lots of details went into this wedding so please be sure to read up on all the amazing vendors who helped pull it all together.

Tara and I quickly bonded over our belief in guardian angles, our love for Tiffany & Co., and our common name inspired by Gone with the Wind. We chatted about the things that were most important to her and I was honored to bring her vision to life, starting with her classic color scheme of black, white and gold of the Pittsburg Steelers. Tara, Brent and a majority of their family and friends flew in from Pittsburgh to celebrate big in Las Vegas.
Their wedding day began early with Amelia C & Co. getting the girls all dolled up, while I put cuff links, bow ties, pocket squares and boutonnieres on all the boys. We paired up with The Westin Lake Las Vegas, Layers of Lovely, RSVP, Sit on This and La Tavola Linens to create a beautiful wedding. The ceremony took on a traditional feeling with an all white color scheme, white folding chairs, white aisle runner, white rose petals, white arrangements, white everything. The bridal party really popped with their black attire. It was timeless. During the recessional, guests were invited to toss sprinkles for a burst of color, but guests were a little shy.
We introduced the color gold during cocktail hour. Cocktail tables were dressed in gold lamour and topped with beautiful white floral. Guests were encouraged to sign Tara and Brent’s guest book designed by Girl Who Drew You. Their signature cocktail even took on the theme with a gold glitter rim. The views of Lake Las Vegas were spectacular while guests sipped on their cocktails and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres.
Tara and Brent’s reception gorgeously combined all three colors of the Pittsburg Steelers. La Tavola provided black New York sequin linens that sparkled beautifully with the reflection of the candles and fireplaces. RSVP provided gold beaded chargers, gold flatware and gold chiavari chairs. Layers of Lovely designed white lush centerpieces on clear vases with draping pearls and feathers. Even with all this beauty, the hit of the night was the guests’ place cards. Girl Who Drew You created caricatures of all the guests prior to the wedding using Facebook profiles. Guests found their table number through an escort card display, but found their seats by finding their very own caricature. They were darling!
DJ Mike Fox hit the night off from the very beginning with a grand entrance in true Pittsburg style. Bridal party members jammed to Black and Yellow by Wiz Khalifa and the new Mr. and Mrs. Fleming entered to Renegade by STYX all while guests rallied their personalized one of a kind Terrible Towels. Mike Fox was sure to update the crowd on the score of the Steelers vs. Panthers game that same night. Thank goodness the Steelers won giving everyone the opportunity to wave those Terrible Towels one more time.
That’s not the end! I’m sure you all agree that the wedding cake designed by Gimme Some Sugar was unbelievable. It was too pretty to eat! Guests sent the newly weds on their way with an amazing sparkler exit, but to then only meet up for a midnight snack at In N Out. If anyone had energy after that they were invited to dance the night away at Hyde Bellagio.
Tara and Brent, it was truly an unbelievable experience planning your wedding with you. Your hearts are big, your family is kind and your friends are hilarious. Thank you for all the memories, even the ones I hope to forget like Brent in handcuffs, friends getting out of control and a majority of the groomsmen forgetting their clothes at Monte Carlo.
