Las Vegas M Resort Wedding: Jennifer & Chris

When we get to work with J.Anne Photography, we know it is going to be a great wedding. When Jennifer and Chris met with us almost one year ago to the date, we fell in love with their sweet and infectious personalities. They were in the beginning stages of packing up and moving from the Midwest to Las Vegas and knew that they wanted their wedding to be in the city they currently would be living in.
Jennifer is a nurse in the Air Force and knew she would be working crazy hours, and she definitely made it to meetings after a night of no sleep coming straight from work. However, each time we saw Jennifer and Chris, it was so much fun to hear about their house they were renovating to make it exactly how they wanted it for their time here in Las Vegas.
When they walked into Lux at the M Resort, they had a look on their faces, every wedding planner dreams of. A look of “We found the place!”. Planning Jennifer and Chris’ wedding with them was truly an honor and a collaboration of some great vendors. This amazing couple said, “I do.” at the M Resort on May 11th, 2013. Jennifer did a first look with her father too! The tears were flowing when he saw his daughter for the first time in a wedding dress.

A shout out to Tara: she is a pro at tying chair ties. She tied some beautiful bow sashes on the back of the chivari chairs to add a beautiful touch to the reception.

Tiffany from Peridot Sweets designed some awesome cakes for the bride and groom. The grooms cake was a surprise for Chris as beer and trucks are his favorite things. He didn’t even want to cut the cake he liked it so much.

Ceremony music provided by Mahi was phenomenal. We could listen to him sing and play guitar all day every day.

Chris custom made a wine box for the couple to open on their anniversary each year, re-read their vows and a note they wrote to each other and share a bottle of wine. Each year, they will put their vows, a note and a new bottle of wine back in the box and wait of the next year to open it back up.

Pictures do not even show how awesome this box was. We want one for ourselves!

The ceremony took place on the pool deck facing the M Resort. It was such a beautiful night to spend outside for a wedding ceremony.

Jennifer and Chris’ first dance was personalized with voiceovers of Jennifer and Chris with his stylish dress shoes for men saying what they love about each other.
