Bonnie and Brian’s Las Vegas wedding was centered around family and friends from the very beginning. Bonnie loved the idea of having their family and friends from different parts of their lives get to know each other. It was a must to have everyone who touched their relationship or helped them grow be together in one place to celebrate such a special day. It wasn’t about an abundance of floral or favors. Instead, it was about providing an experience. They wanted to create special moments and lasting memories of an incredible destination wedding in Las Vegas.
Guests were invited to The Flamingo Garden Chapel for an incredibly personal ceremony designed by Kymberli Smith. Bonnie and Brian’s dog Gravy wasn’t able to make it to Las Vegas because of the heat, but Gravy was very special to Bonnie and Brian and they had to incorporate him in a unique way. The poem below designed for laughs and giggles didn’t fail. Guests truly loved it!
How Falling in Love is like Owning a Dog
by Taylor Mali
First of all, it’s a big responsibility,
especially in a city like Denver.
So think long and hard before deciding on love.
On the other hand, love gives you a sense of security:
when you’re walking down the street late at night
and you have a leash on love
ain’t no one going to mess with you.
Because crooks and muggers think love is unpredictable.
Who knows what love could do in its own defense? …
Sometimes love just wants to go out for a nice long walk.
Because love loves exercise. It will run you around the block
and leave you panting, breathless. Pull you in different directions
at once, or wind itself around and around you
until you’re all wound up and you cannot move.
But love makes you meet people wherever you go.
People who have nothing in common but love
stop and talk to each other on the street.
Throw things away and love will bring them back,
again, and again, and again.
But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.
And in return, love loves you and never stops.
