Denise and Ben had their Red Rock Hotel wedding in May earlier this year. They didn’t just plan a wedding; they created a full Las Vegas wedding weekend experience. The weekend started with a rehearsal dinner at the VIP Red Rock Bowling Lanes followed by partying at Rocks Lounge inside Red Rock Hotel. The next day consisted of fantastic wedding activities. On the day after, a large farewell brunch was held as well as hiking and geocaching in the famous Las Vegas Red Rocks.
Denise had a vision for her wedding: no assigned seating, no cookie cutter round tables, no plated dinner. Instead she wanted a complete lounge style wedding with lots of furniture and a room packed with food stations. They served it all: freshly tossed salads, a variety of sliders, carving meats, mashed potatoes, seafood and even a sushi chef! Guests went from mingling and lounging to grab some food then to the dance floor then back to snag a snack and back and forth all night.
To kick off the evening, Las Vegas showgirls welcomed guests into the purple and silver ballroom. Passed beverages and hors d’ouevres were served (Denise and I both highly recommend the fish taco!). Everyone then moved to a beautiful balcony for a sunset ceremony. A gorgeous chandelier made their Jewish wedding chuppah sparkle with the setting sun. Vows and rings were exchanged and Ben broke a glass as guests joined in cheering, “Mazel Tov!” The reception was started with a rousing Hora, another Jewish wedding tradition.
A choreographed first dance impressed Denise & Ben’s friends and family…not only the dance moves but also Denise’s sassy sequin gown. Before the dance floor officially opened one more surprise was in store. Frank Sinatra appeared and serenaded the crod with his best hits. Dancing and revelry finished off the night before the new Mr. & Mrs. escaped to their suite!
P.S.–promise me you’ll check out the video at the end by Lighten Films. Serious coolness going on there!
